A HEARTFELT TRIBUTE FROM THE EMERALD ISLE <?

My name is Marty Tempest and I was born in Ireland. My family  who are all musicians/Vocalists were connected to the music scene in the 60's and 70's in Ireland and the U.K. and still to this present day performing on stage. This was thanks to the unfluence & support from my Uncle Joe Kennedy (Vocalist/Musician/Showband Leader) who started me singing at a very early age, who is also a very major influence in my life and giving me so much encouragement  - The younger generation in my family are still entertaining to this day. At a very early age I became familiar with all styles of music, with Elvis being my favourite.

Having had the privilege of early training in sound engineering in my teenage years, I became very proficient as a musician, sound engineer and also a vocalist - my style then being gospel music.

In later years, I became very involved in the Elvis scene and when I moved to London, I became an Elvis Tribute Artiste.

Over the years I have made numerous T.V. appearances both in the U.K. and abroad for Carlton, RTE and many American cable channels.

I regularly perform at corporate and private events all over the UK , Ireland and Europe and the Hilton chain of Hotels, I have also been seen on T.V. and Londons West End  Circuit and have also  performed in many prestigious venues all over the U.K. Ireland & Europe.

I have also been involved with many Rockstock Productions and various other Promoters at Home and Abroad,

I work with both - Backing tracks and Live bands when required. 

 I have an 18 piece band when required for that special occasion. Please note that this band must be arranged well in advance because of the amount of preparation involved. I have also performed on stage  at the American Embassy party  in  the U.K.  Over the years  I have met many Celebrities who came to my venues on many occasions. 17 Piece Big Band (5 saxes, 4 bones, 4 trumpets / Rhythm Section)

This traditional big band is available for hire on its own to be the focal point of any event, or as a backing band for Rat Pack / Swing singers or Vegas style shows. This full ensemble can be complemented by a group of backing vocalists to provide harmonies for the artist, or a string section of any size. This band has the massive impact of the traditional Big Bands and virtuosic soloists that feature throughout the visually stunning full size ensemble.

10 Piece Band (3 Horns, 2 Keys, 2 Backing Vox, Guitar, Bass, Drums)

The classic session band size, featuring some of the best musicians in the Country. This band covers, pop, soul, jazz, funk and any style of music that is required. 

7 Piece Soul / Pop Band (3 Horns, Keys, Guitar, Bass, Drums)

This band is the popular size of backing band for many soul / pop singers, a 2nd keyboard player can be added if the situation requires it, also backing vocalists can be added to compliment the singer.

4 Piece Rhythm Section ( Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keyboard)

A 4 piece rhythm section can cover most musical situations from Rock to swing to cabaret shows. This should give you an idea on how I do work, Should you require other professional singers to use my Band on the day, Please inform well before hand possibly at the time of the booking, As I need to know exactly how long each set the band is required to play, As this would reflect in the price. I only use the best Musicians to the highest standards.

I do also use top of the range Backingtracks when it is not possible to use a Band depending on the situation, Budget/ size of venue etc. In other words some clients prefer backingtracks because there may be more than one Act on the night,And I may be required to pack up quickly so as the next act can setup for their performance. The band setup is mainly used for large corporate venues and certain Hotels and private clubs.

I also use Backing tracks for the smaller venue when required,

Like Restaurants, Or private house party's Pubs and certain Clubs, Marquees etc. Please feel free to contact me with your requirements. 

However, I must emphasise that I do not plug in or connect into any Sound Decibel level meters at any time, as these damage P.A equipment when they cut out at various set levels.  I work with a reasonable amount of sound to enable me to work in a comfortable environment (Tribute Show). If you want the music really quiet, this Show is definitely not for you. Also, if making a Booking or just a enquiry please state if a Decibel or Sound Level Meter will be used at your venue.
